Rommel Gargoles has been practicing martial arts for over 20 years. He is a seven-time
World Champion, currently US Team and National Team Member. He has been Inducted into
the Hall of Fame 14 times. And has been featured in many magazines and publications as
well as numerous tv shows, pay-per-view, reality TV shows and movies. He is a 5th Degree
Black Belt in Tang Soo Do and has cross-trained in other disciplines such as Shotokan,
XMA, Tae Kwon Do, Wushu. He has also coached numerous students and competitors to
winning National and World Titles.  Rommel was also the Martial Arts Instructor to many of
Hollywood's A-list Celebrities kids, such as Steve Carell, Kimora Lee Simmons, Kelsey
Grammer, Angela Bassett, Cedric the Entertainer, Marlon and Shawn Wayans and Shanna
Moakler to name a few. He is currently a KICKSTART KIDS Instructor for Chuck Norris.

Orlando, Florida.  I am a Chief instructor under Grandmaster Ron Jenkins, and have been ranked internationally for
Martial Arts.  I was a member of the 2006 US AAU National Tae Kwon Do Team, a Bronze medalist in the PanAm International
competition, and a multiple Gold Medalist at the National and International level.  I won 2 Gold Medals at the 2012 WOMAA

Scarborough, Maine.  I have won 3 WOMAA World Titles, Overall Self Defense in Cardiff, Wales in 2011, and the Overall
women's Black Belt Forms and Weapons titles in Telford, England in 2012, along with the honor of inducted into the WOMAA
Int'l Hall of Fame as the Int'l Female Competitor of the year in 2011.  This will be my fourth WOMAA World Games that I will be

Ronny Zapata is 12 yrs old and has been training in the martial arts since the age of 4.
By the age of 5 he started his competition career. He is a 1st Degree Black Belt in

Willie C Cordy III   has earned four 2013 Virginia State Championships and competitor of the year awards.  He started
learning Shaolin Kung Fu at the age of 3 from his father.  A year later he started training at 4 with the Hunter family.     
He has earned his black belt at the age of 9 and has become the youngest black belt in Shito Ryu/Shotokan Karate Do
to come through Tiger Martial Arts.  Now at 14 yrs of age, Cordy is a 2nd Dan in Shito Ryu/Shotokan Karate Do. Master
Willie Hunter Jr. remains his head instructor with the Elder Cordy as his coach and strategist.  Willie has a green belt
in Muay Thai, trains in Olympic TKD under Master Charles Parks and trains in Wing Chun Kung Fu in Va. Beach under

Willie Cordy Jr. (Coach)   Professor Cordy Jr. trained in Trad. Shaolin Kung Fu at the Tai Chi Assoc/  in
Decatur, Georgia under Master Chong.  Atlanta is where he received the name "Young Dragon".  Cordy
continues his studies at Tiger Martial Arts under Willie Hunter Jr. in the art of strategy and conditioning,

Rachel Stanhope
: Age: 14yrs old,   2nd Degree Shotokan Black Belt.  I have been training in Shotokan

Olivia Sun is a 4th degree black belt and has been training in the martial arts for over 20 years. She trains
under Grand Master James Roberts Jr at Kim Studio in Rockville, MD. Throughout her competitive career,
she has won numerous championship titles, including 22 forms grand championships at the regional and
national levels, and was the AAU Taekwondo National Championship gold medalist in 2011 and 2012.
This is her first WOMAA World Games and she looks forward to competing as a member of Team America.

Anne McCoy -  I started in Karate in 1990 as a follow up to my daughter starting in the summer of
1989 and my husband returning the art in the late fall of that same year. I achieved my 1st degree
black belt in 1992 and 4th degree Master in 2000. I was awarded my sixth degree in 2005. In
addition to my core art of Tang Soo Do, I have studied kenpo, Judo, Aikido, Ju Jitsu, Krav Maga
and Tai Chi. I am also certified in kickboxing and martial arts fitness. I began teaching in 1991 and
opened my school in 1994. I have competed all over the USA on the Ippone, Krane and NASKA
circuits. I have also competed internationally in Russia, the Bahamas, Hungary, Italy, China, The
Philippines and Australia.

Paul McCoy -  I started training in Boxing and Wrestling in 1971 at Culver Military Academy and
continued with wrestling and Shorin Ryu at Denison University from 1975-79. I began training in
Tang Soo Do with Grandmaster Robert Cheezic in 1984, and have trained in Krav Maga, Kenpo
and Tai Chi. My current rank is Oidan, Master in Tang Soo Do. I have competed in Italy, Hungry in
world cups placing in silver medals in weapons, traditional forms and self defense. I have taught
at Manila High School in the Philippines (10,000 students), Manila Elementary School (5,000
students) as part of a Mission team with my family and fellow students.

Kendrick Marcano:  , I am 17 years of age and I have been taking Tang Soo Do for 4 years. I
attend McCoy’s Action Karate and I have been a black belt (cho Dan) for about 4 months. I
started taking karate mostly to stay in shape but after a month or so I wanted to come for the
lessons and wanted to know as much as my instructors could teach me and more. I kept
with that attitude all the way to this moment and I want to keep striving for even higher goals.

Barbara McCoy: I've technically been doing tournaments all over new England since 1989
under Grand Master Robert Cheezic, but started sharing that excitement with students in
1994 under Master Michael Bogdanski. With that I've competed locally on the IPPONE and
KRANE circuits, in the World Cups in Hungary; the US Open in Florida, as well as being
part of a team that went to Manila for a mission trip with my church (www.gotohpc.org)
and also have trained in, Scotland and Russia. I am currently training in Tang Soo Do as
well as continuing my knowledge in Kenpo under Eliud Sanchez and Tae Kwon Do under

Jason Hronek is 11 yrs old and trains in Tang Soo Do under World Champion
Rommel Gargoles.  He also represents Chuck Norris' Team KICKSTART International.
Jason is taking the competition circuit by storm winning first place in every
competition thus far. He compete's in Traditional Forms, Creative Forms, Creative

Rylan B. Garza :  I have trained in the martial arts for six years under Team K2 Karate
in Houston Texas.  I am currently the # 1 ranked Junior Black Belt in katas for the
state of Texas 2012/2013.  I am 3X Texas State Title holder in Katas and Weapons
competition.  I am currently the World title Holder for SKIL 2012 Japanese Kata.  I am

Dallas Trejo  is 17 years old and has been training in Tang Soo Do under 7x World Champion Rommel
Gargoles.  He also represents Chuck Norris' Team KICKSTART International.  He is the 2012 KSK State
Champion, 2 time SKIL Texas State Champion, 4 time National Champion and 2012 Sport Karate
International Amateur World Champion. Dallas also travelled to Korea as an Ambassador last year. It was an
opportunity of a life time for Dallas to train with the highest ranking and oldest Tang Soo Do Grand Masters
in the World. Next year he will be traveling to China to further his training. Besides excelling in the Martial
Arts Dallas also excels academically, ranking in the Top 10% of his class.  Dallas aspires to be a Plastic

Conor Cannon: is 13 years old and has been in Martial Arts since age 6. Conor earned his Black Belt at age
12 and has been competing for 5 years. He has earned World Champion Titles in NBL/SKIL and USKA and
1st at the NASKA US Open. He was ranked Texas top 12-14yr old competitor and Highest Points at the state
and national levels for USKA.  Conor currently holds 14 World titles and 6 State titles over 3 years. Conor

brother Brenan were the first Martial Artist that Disney let perform at Disney’s Performing Arts Onstage.

Akshaya Annapragada is 15 years old, is in the 9th grade, and has been training in the martial arts

Kickstart. A national champion submission grappler, Akshaya now competes on the NBL sport

Grandmaster Ron Jenkins | He is an 9th degree Grandmaster in Tae Kwon Do and Tang Soo Do and is
certified in additional Martial Arts systems as well.  Grandmaster Jenkins is the coach of the 1991-1996
8-time World and National Champion D.K.T. Force One Karate Team.  He also coaches the Team
Excellence demo and competition team whose members are qualified to compete in the American
Athletic Union Junior Olympics and AAU National Tournament.  Grandmaster Jenkins has been
entered in the Professional Karate Leagues Hall of Fame and is a number one ranked competitor.  He
has been in the Martial Arts for more than 25 years and received his Black Belt at the age of 20.  He was
named the 1992-1993 Man of The Year.  He is also a WOMAA Int'l World Martial Games Tournament

Force One Karate Team.  She is also named in the Professional Karate Leagues Hall of Fame

Aaron Arnold: ..........Aaron is 13 yrs. old, from Luther ,MI and currently studies southern style at
Chan's Kung Fu in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Aaron also studies Wushu at O.M.A.C. in G.R. ,MI.
under Shifu Wang Fang. Aaron has a bit of Tae Kwon Doe in his background as well...so a
shout out to Mr.Anscomb for being a big part of Aaron's love of the martial arts. Aaron has been
to China and California and now it is a privledge and honor to get a chance to travel to beautiful
Ireland. Aaron is new to the team this year. Aaron has done well at tournaments and loves
competition and hopes to Make Team America proud.
Robyn Short:  began studying martial arts at age 12, and has a passion for training and
teaching. She serves as an Assistant Instructor at Five Star Tae Kwon Do in Capitol
Heights, MD under the leadership of Grandmaster John Cloyd. As a traditional and
olympic stylist, Robyn holds multiple regional championship and grand championship
awards. She will be competing in the 2013 AAU National Championships as a member
of Team MTKC. Robyn won 2 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze medals at the 2011 WOMAA
World Games in Wales. This will be her second appearance with Team America.
My name is Matthew Morgan, I am 12 years old.  I study Tae Kwon Do under Grandmaster
Ron Jenkins at Karate Sports Academy.  I have been training for a year and half and
martial arts have changed my life.  It has taught me self confidence and self discipline.  I
am an avid weather watcher and love studying wildlife; I also love to play baseball. I
aspire to be a scientist, studying the weather and/or wildlife.  I am honored to be a
member of Team America; and I am looking forward to competing in my first WOMAA

Paul Liss (李炳麟 - Li Bǐnglín)  Paul started his formal martial arts training in 1986, learning the modern Yang
style Taijiquan short form. Over the next decade, he explored many styles including Shotokan Karate,
Sanchin Ryu Karate, Northern Long Fist, and modern Yang style Taiji swordplay. In 2006, he competed at
the 1st North Regional Chinese Kuoshu Tournament in the Taijiquan division. Impressed by the level of skill
displayed by the Zhong Yi Kung Fu Association competitors, Paul began studying Bei Shaolinquan under
Shifu Nelson Ferreira the following week. He has also had the opportunity to study with great teachers such
as Shifu Steve Kleppe, Zhang Xiaoling, Liu Yu, Norm Petredean, Wang Yu, Khiang Seow, and Chen Huixian.
He has travelled to China and studied at Shaolin, Wudang and Emei. Paul is an Instructor at the Zhong Yi
Kung Fu Association, he is also the Taolu (forms competition) Team Captain and was a member of the US

I am 10 years old. I have been training Shotokan karate for almost 5 years under Shihan Andy Campbell at
Dragon Fire Martial Art in South Portland, Maine. I have been competing all over New England on the IPPONE
Tournaments. I did great on Local Tournaments and make it to final four on most of them. Also, First time this
year I competed to WOMAA national tournament in Delaware and took home Under belt forms Grand Champion.

Jimmy Czarda is 26 (will be turning 27 while in Ireland) and is a student and instructor under Grandmaster Ron
Jenkins of Karate Sports Academy located in Warrenton Virginia. He has been taking martial arts for 6 years
and is a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do and will be testing for his second degree at the end of 2013. He
has competed in MMA and Jiu Jitsu events. He has also won a bronze medal in a U.S. Grappling Association
tournament. This will be his first W.O.M.A.A. World Games where he will be competing as well as working
